For the month of February, the artificial school of fish were displaying different behaviors. This month the female clownfish laid eggs near the front of the tank on the rocks. She started to act very defensively over her eggs she just laid and whenever the FoxFace fish or the Tang came near her territory, she would chase the fishes away from the eggs. The FoxFace fish and the Tang would swim constantly around the tank trying to figure out wha the female clownfish was trying to protect. The male clownfish would hide in eh rock more because of his mother's aggressive behavior. The neon goby constantly hid and swam around the tank; rarely coming near the female clownfish eggs. The regal tang also hid constantly during this month.
