For the last two weeks of October, the behavior of the school of fish has been observed and recorded on data sheets. During this time the behavior of the school of fish overall have been stayed constant, although some days the fish were in different areas of the tank. The mother premnas stayed near the male premnas who decided to stay shelter in the a coral in the center of the tank while the paracanthurus hepatus, elecatinus, siganus vulpinus , andzebrasoma flavescensstayed hided most of time and only came out if they were going to change their shelter in the tank. On the last day of October, the fish were tested while the metal halide lights were turned off. The mother and son premnas found shelter in the tank while the paracanthurus hepatu, elecatinus, siganus vulpinus , and Zebrasoma flavescensstayed hidden in the crevices of the corals and the rocks in the tank.

During the month of November new behavior from the school of fish was observed and recorded. To start off, the male and female maroon clownfish started to behave differently than the previous month of October. The clownfish were fleeing and hiding when the door closed. Secondly, the fox face fish, tang, and neon goby were constantly floating around the tank and hiding. The tang and the fox face fish were always in the back of the tank, eating food off of the glass. The blue surgeonfish was hidden during the month of November. Also, during the month of November the behavior of the school of fish was sometimes tested during different times of the day to see how the behavior of the fish differed during those times.

During the month of March the artificial school of fish displayed different behaviors. Since there were two breaks during the month of March the school of fish would come to the center of the tank if a door slammed shut or opened and they would flee if someone approached the tank. The female clownfish would attack the glass if you came near the tank while the male clownfish would hide in the coral. Also if any fish came close to the clown fishs’ territory, the female clownfish would chase any fish away from the male clownfish. The Foxface fish and the Tang would constantly feed and swim around the back of the tank. Sometimes they would chase each other around the tank as if they were playing tag. The neon goby would swim and hide around the tank through the corals and rocks. The blue surgeonfish would hide around the tank as well and barely come out. During the month of April I plan to check the tank in the morning when I arrive.
